Swimming for a good cause!

I'm pledging to swim 200 laps (10km) in a bid to raise $3000 for the Children's Cancer Foundation.

I'll swim 1 more lap for every additional $20 raised.

What do you get when you combine Girl, Bike and Van?

It's the end of the school semester and works piling up. Probably taking a hiatus till its all over. I got a new bike and hopefully will have the time to write about it, cheers!

I cycled home in the rain today with 2 near misses... Mainly drivers not paying attention, I reacted and avoided. Need brighter lights to feel more visible...

As a bike nut, i like looking at some bling on a bike, new parts, unique modifications, carbon, bags, anything really.

First day in Hiroshima

Walked pass the touristy Hiroshima Dome to DeoDeo (A electronics departmental store) so that the other intern with my industrial attachment and me could get our Internet up ASAP.

First impressions when walking around town is that. LOTS of people here cycle! I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. The occasional ring of the bell, kept me spinning my head around looking for the incoming cyclist.

What really shocked me was that probably 50% of the cyclist here are female. Yes, that's right. And Japanese people really dress well. Boy would you love to be in my shoes right now.
