First timer at Night Offroad
Tonite was best nite ride I ever had..... Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil
Despite the rain pouring in the whole afternoon till early evening, I went ahead to do the bf by myself before meeting Starringme(yes that means me) outside sc entrance along T15.
While doing bf halfway thru, I brushed thru some low branches and caught on spiderweb... suddenly, I saw something hanging between my eyes and goggles while ridng...had to throw off my bike and do a sweep of my SBO, helmet & bike.....
At the same time, took a picture of the beautiful lake just after the rain...
When I finished the first trail, I took a shortcut in the woods and join bk T15 to meet Jasper. On the way to Gangsa area before the upslope, I saw a gp of wild boars in the middle of the trail wandering for food...Taken by surprise, I stopped and ready to ditch my bike in case they charged towards me, but they all run into the forest in less than 10s... Laughing
They must be thinking crazy fellow still doing rides after the rain.. Embarassed
We fixed the lights for the nite ride and ride thru sc and wc 1 & 2nd stream. We took a rest at the usual spot and were taking some pics and Jasper suddenly asked me to point the lights at the stream's bank....
Holy shit!!! A 2 metre snake was resting at the bank and it looks very colourful...Took pic and video...
Taking a break
Posing for picture before spotting the snake at the back...
Starringme posing
After that, we head bk from where we come from and ride thru the kampong trail and reach the end of T15. Went straight for our dinner at kopitiam ard 10pm
Damn it...both of us agreed it was a great ride and we had an enjoyable dinner...will be back for more next week... Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil
Tonite, I will sleep like a king...hahahaha Laughing
P.S: Please leave the wild boars alone if you see them, hardly see them in SG so let them roam around in our little forest so that others have a chance to see them too.

Malaysia offroad in Skudai! 2nd July
http://www.everytrail.com/view_trip.php?trip_id=1145623
There were some really nice views, a nice break away from urban Singapore.
Not long before entering the trails, we started to smell something unpleasant... And eventually came across the source...
And the guy herding the cows was riding a motorbike! He helped as clear the way :) Although there were many freshly deployed land mines ahead!
Heading in a direction with no visible trail ahead meant overcoming certain obstacles along the way! Teamwork! Barbed wire fences, steep loose rocky slopes, beautiful moss covered palm plantations, mad dogs that chase you, scorching open lands, etc!
Notice the rubber tube tied around the tree trunk? I used it to help me climb the many slopes we encountered! But little did I know...
I was pricked by this little caterpillar! Many thorns were in my skin and I was screaming like a girl when I pulled them out... One. By. One. Ouch!
The ride was great with good food too! Macdonalds breakfast, KFC lunch, Cendol break, Prata dinner, Nasi Goreng Supper. Covered about 130km according to my friend's speedo! Legs are still tired!

Offroad: Tampines Bike Park
It has been some 5 1/2 months without offroad, and yesterday (after 12mn mah) was my first time at TBP after so long... The course is rougher at some points, due to soil erosion and wear and tear (Esp from the recent 12 hour MTB race.)... While other points are had more grass growing and seemed smoother... En route to the jungle trail, my friend and I had a little fun trying to get air... Such a feeling! The jungle trail is pretty swampy, but still ridable... Except for some fallen trees and mud pools.
Life's good when school's out! Cheers!

White + Blue = Offroad
I just saw a similarity, although distant... Both had white blue black theme and offroad capability. I miss the thrill of going offroad!

Full sus wild in the city!
When I say wild, I mean spotted and untouched by thieves... This is my neighbour's bike and yes I don't know him/her.
And I'm pretty sure this bike has not seen the any trails, in its lifetime. such a pity... But with such suspension, city riding would certainly a breeze. Wouldn't it? Curbs, potholes, drain covers broken tiles. Like driving a luxury car on a really bad street.
Would the weather get warmer so I can enjoy my commutes more? :)
