Teenagers arrested for alleged bicycle theft

SINGAPORE: Two teenagers, aged 13 and 14 years old, were arrested on Tuesday for allegedly stealing at least four bicycles.

Officers from Clementi Police Division on patrol spotted them behaving suspiciously near several locked bicycles at the bicycle parking area of Blk 17 Dover Crescent.

Upon interviewing the duo, the teenagers could not account for several of the bicycles found in their possession.

Early investigations revealed that both suspects are believed to be involved in at least four cases of bicycle theft in the same area from November last year to July this year.

Is it getting safer? Seriously, I think the police are stepping up efforts... Including putting signs up to appeal of witnesses.
